Frederick Thomas Hall was born in February 1892 in Silverstone, Northamptonshire.  His parents were John Alexander Linnell and Frances Ann Whitlock 

In 1901, Frederick lived in Silverstone, Northamptonshire with his parents and his family.  The occupants were:-

In 1911, Frederick lived in Little London, Silverstone, Northamptonshire with his parents and family.  He was working as a grocers porter.  The occupants are as follows:-

He married Ada Lucy Hall ( in the 4th Quarter of 1915 in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Frederick served in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment as a private during World War 1.  His regiment number was 23793. 


He enlisted on 23 January 1917 and was discharged at the age of 27 on 9 May 1919.  He was discharged with the Silver War Badge which was awarded to soldiers who were honourably discharged through illness or wounding.  He was issued badge number B201482.  According to family stories he had suffered from a wound which left shrapnel in his leg. 


Frederick and Ada had 3 daughters and 4 sons, Amy Lucy, Frederick Thomas, Kathleen F, Mary, John Alexander, Ronald Edmund and William George.  

Frederick died on 19thAugust 1963 in Silverstone, Northamptonshire. He was buried at St Michaels Church, Silverstone on 20th August 1963.
